Are you living your dreams?
That’s my question for you today. Are you living your dreams? Leadership expert John Maxwell says, “Dreams are seeds of possibilities planted in your soul, calling you to pursue a unique path to the realization of your purpose.”
I believe that we all have dreams. We may have forgotten those dreams, we may have stuffed them down deep inside, or we may have put them away in the closet. It’s like how American humorist Erma Bombeck put it, “There are people who put there dreams in a little box and say, ‘Yes, I’ve got dreams, of course I’ve got dreams.’ Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they’re still there.” Maybe we’ve tried to pursue our dreams and have been disappointed. Perhaps we have never felt or thought that we had the permission or the freedom to go after our dreams. Many times we choose “responsibilities” over dreams. And I’m not at all saying to neglect responsibilities. But should we neglect our dreams in the name of “responsibilities”? Did we come into this world to simply work and pay bills? Is that life? Is that our purpose of existing? Is it even that we should fulfill our duties and with whatever time or energy we have left we can spend on our dreams?

Have you ever secretly admired or had a burning desire for something? Would we even be human if we didn’t?
